Following right in the footsteps of our sixth location, Lime Fresh Mexican Grill’s® location in Downtown Miami will be our newest dining option. With the grand opening set for the the end of summer, make sure to come out for more free food, drinks and entertainment. Certified Humane : August 1, 2010

As of August 1, 2010 Lime Fresh Mexican Grill® will be the only fast casual restaurant to be certified humane. While other restaurants may make misleading claims, Lime is the only one to have all of its meats inspected and certified by Humane Farm Animal Care.

What does this mean?:

The Certified Humane Raised and Handled® label assures consumers:

The producer meets their standards and applies them to animals from birth through slaughter

Animals have ample space, shelter and gentle handling to limit stress

Animals have ample fresh water and a healthy diet of quality feed, without added antibiotics or hormones

Cages, crates and tie stalls are forbidden, and animals must be free to do what comes naturally

Come Lime Downtown Dadeland wants to extend their happy hour specials all summer long. Come enjoy a different special everyday from 3-6PM.

-Margarita Mondays: 1/2 price margaritas

-Trifecta Tuesdays: 1/2 price trifecta samplers and 1/2 price imported beers

-Chicks and Salsa Wednesdays: Ladies enjoy free chips and salsa, along with 1/2 price sangria and wine.

-Thirsty Thursdays: 1/2 price imported beers and 1/2 price flautas.

Operation Homefront : Memorial Weekend 2010

Lime Fresh Mexican Grill® supports Operation Homefront in their effort to direct services to alleviate a military family’s or individual’s actual/complete emergency financial burden, as well as counseling and/or recovery support. Lime Fresh Mexican Grill® provided special care packages to this great charity through Memorial weekend. Lime fans were encouraged to stop by any of Lime location and donate any non-parishable item. Military personnel were also given a free taco with their ID badge all weekend.

Beach Channel at Lime South Beach : June 4,2010

The Beach Channel filming was a huge success! Locals got the chance to be a part of the filming, while enjoying their free chicken, beef or veggie tacos. Commercial coming soon!

Animal Rescue Mission & MTV Films Event:

Thursday, May 20

Lime Midtown hosted a happy hour from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. for Animal Recovery Mission (ARM), a local nonprofit fighting animal cruelty. MTV filmed the event for a new docu-series, The World of Jenks.

Just in time to help hungry diners navigate the town for Art Basel, Zagat has released its 2010 Miami/So. Florida Restaurants Survey, covering 1,057 restaurants in the Miami, Ft. Lauderdale and Palm Beach areas. The new guide codifies the opinions of over 6,100 local diners about the dining scene in Southern Florida and how the past year’s economy has affected their dining habits. Zagat’s ratings for Dade and Broward noting Lime as #5 in Miami and #3 in Ft. Lauderdale - giving diners the biggest "bang for their buck."
